*Dramatic suspenseful music*

Thank you to the 480 industry professionals and wealth managers who ventured to the home of the Batman Building, Nashville, Tennessee for FactRight’s 2024 Annual Due Diligence conference. It was a legendary success, and we, the FactRight staff, are so grateful for your continued support and participation.

Here are some exploits from the conference:

  • Over 200 wealth managers embarked on the quest to join us at the JW Marriott in Nashville, where FactRight’s co-president, “Captain QOZ” aka Russell Putnam, welcomed us all to the conference with and update from the Gotham Globe.

He spoke briefly on FactRight's web-based report center.  It features all of FactRight's due diligence reports covering a wide variety of structures and strategies, including DSTs, QOZs, REITs, Oil & Gas, Interval Funds, etc. If you're looking to access valuable research and analysis on the presenting sponsors featured at the conference, be sure to visit the FactRight Report Center, where you can download due diligence reports in full. He also introduced the FactRight Justice League, which will be featured in the upcoming issues of FR Comics, including Private Placement Crusaders, DST Justice League, and Operational Due Diligence—Why So Serious?

  • Next, FactRight co-president, “The Prince of Public Filings” aka Jake Heidkamp, took the stage to give an update on market conditions which provided an excellent origin story for our following alternative product presentations. If you liked what you heard and would like regular updates on significant events for alternative programs, along with other industry news, sign up to receive Jake's Weekly Updates straight to your inbox here.

  • The 28 sponsor presentations and 40 exhibit sponsors provided information on a variety of investment structures and strategies and helped make the conference informative and effective.
  • Thank you to our panel moderators and participants who shared their thoughtful insights and added to conversations on an array of topics. We'd like to recognize and thank our guest moderator Anya Coverman, President and CEO of the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives (IPA), and her panelists for their discussion on legislative and regulatory policy issues that are impacting wealth managers. FactRight's Russell Putman also led a super conversation on real estate development in 2024 and beyond with executives from key real estate developers in our space.

  • I know that everyone loved Wednesday's gathering at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, sponsored by Vistra. The live music was wonderful, the company was lively and fun, and Elvis Presley's Gold Cadillac was a site to see.

  • We'd like to give another big thanks to Honors Way Group for sponsoring our Thursday evening cocktail reception, full of music, drinks, and good times all around. The Tennessee whiskey tasting was a big hit, especially the apple pie moonshine.

  • Additional thank you’s go out to Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions for the coffee bar, S2K for the late-night snacks in the gift box, and Griffin Capital for the hotel key cards.
  • Thank you to all who attended and made our Annual Due Diligence Conference in Gotham City, oops sorry, Nashville, a success! We hope to see you all (and more!) at FactRight's next event, our RIA Spring Due Diligence Conference this March 17 - 19, 2025, in Scottsdale, AZ. Stay tuned for more details - registration opens in November 2024!
  • We'd also like to remind you that our due diligence support is always available. If you have any questions regarding the information covered at the conference or any other due diligence inquiries, please don't hesitate to reach out to FactRight’s Justice League.
